Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to learn a little about the heart and soul of our business. We are Kate and Joel Rudloff, a husband and wife team that loves to help create and capture those moments and memories that will carry with you for a lifetime. We actually met while working weddings. Joel was a local wedding and event DJ. Kate was filming weddings and special events. A great friendship quickly grew into something more serious and on March 26th, 2010 were married. A few months later we combined our talents and started A Final Take Music + Video. We loved working as a team to provide the best possible product and service for our clients. Several years and a couple of kids later, our focus is still on giving you the personalized attention and dedication that you deserve. Over the years we have also added a few DJs, video staff, and other miscellaneous pieces to our puzzle that help to make our team whole. Our team is passionate about your project and cannot wait to talk with you about it. Our team may have grown over the years but we all still strive to provide the same quality and attention to detail that our company was founded on.

Kate began working in corporate productions and the wedding industry upon relocating in the Omaha area.
Joel was born and raised in Omaha, NE. The main principles that Joel learned early on in life is to always work your hardest, while leaving time for fun. It wasn’t until Freshman year of college that he found the perfect combination of work and fun, being a DJ. Joel started working for a local DJ company as a fun part time job while he focusing on his studies. He quickly grew to become one the top requested DJs in that company. Event logistics, atmosphere, and music always just seemed to come naturally to him. Joel is just an easy-going, happy guy who loves to make other people happy.
After graduating from Creighton University, Joel started his career as a Paramedic and took a short break from DJing. During that time, he started to miss being a part of all those celebrations. So he picked up the microphone once more to start DJing again, and has never stopped since.
He now works full time as a firefighter/paramedic, balancing his career with his love for music and jubilation.
